## Steps

### Step 1: Screens

Everything lives in the sidebar. "Screens" lists every TV you have paired. A screen is one TV running the SignageSpace player: pair it once with a short code, and it shows whatever you send.

### Step 2: Media

"Media" is your library of images and videos. It stores your files, but it does not play them on its own.

### Step 3: Playlists

"Playlists" is where you build what plays. A playlist puts media and apps in order, and loops them on the screen.

> **Tip:** Screen, media, playlist: for most people, that is the whole product.

### Step 4: Layouts

"Layouts" holds your designs and the ready-made templates. A playlist fills the whole screen; a layout splits the screen into zones, so several things show at once.

> **Note:** Layouts are a Premium feature. Add them when you need them.

### Step 5: Channel & Scheduling

"Channel & Scheduling" is where you plan the day. A playlist loops the same content all day; a channel is a schedule, such as breakfast in the morning, lunch at noon and dinner at night.

> **Note:** Scheduling is a Premium feature.
