## Steps

### Step 1: Add a channel

Open "Channel & Scheduling", and choose "Add Channel".

> **Note:** Scheduling is done in a channel: a list of items, where each item can have its own days and hours. Scheduling is a Premium feature.

### Step 2: Drag in your playlists

From the "Playlist" tab, drag in your all-day playlist, then the one for lunch.

### Step 3: Open the schedule

On the lunch playlist, choose "Schedule".

### Step 4: Pick the days

Pick the days. "Quick Select" fills in the weekdays for you.

### Step 5: Set the hours

Pick a time preset, or type your own hours. Then choose "Add".

> **Tip:** The time fields are locked while "All Day" is selected. Pick another preset first, then adjust the start and end time.

### Step 6: Add a second schedule

Need different hours at the weekend? Add a second schedule the same way. One item can have several: say, weekday lunchtimes and weekend afternoons.

### Step 7: Check the preview

Close the window. The "Schedule Preview" shows your whole week.

### Step 8: Name and save

Name the channel, and choose "Save Channel".

### Step 9: Put it on your screen

Open your screen, pick the channel under "Content", and save your changes.

> **Note:** An item without a schedule plays all the time. An item with one only joins the loop during its hours: here, the lunch playlist plays from 11:00 to 15:00 on weekdays, and the rest of the time only the all-day menu plays.
