# Uploading and Managing Media

> Learn how to upload images and videos, organize your media library, and keep your content assets well-structured.

## Steps

### Step 1: Open Media

Open "Media" in the sidebar, and choose "Upload".

> **Note:** The media library holds every image and video you upload. It stores your files, but it does not play them: to show something on a screen, add it from the library to a playlist.

### Step 2: Add your files

Drop your files into the panel, or browse for them. You can add up to ten at a time, and the panel shows your plan's size limit.

> **Tip:** For the sharpest picture, match your screen: 1920 × 1080 for landscape, and 1080 × 1920 for portrait.

### Step 3: Upload

Choose "Upload", and the files appear in your library.

### Step 4: Preview a file

Click a file to preview it.

### Step 5: Organise with folders

Folders keep things tidy as your library grows. Create one, then drag your files into it.

### Step 6: Delete with care

Use the delete button on a file to remove it from your library.

> **Warning:** A deleted file also disappears from every playlist that used it.
