# Using the App Store to Enhance Your Displays

## Steps

### Step 1: Open the App Store

Open "Apps", then "App Store". Use the filters to narrow the list.

> **Note:** Apps are content that keeps itself up to date: a clock, a countdown, a scrolling announcement and many more. Most are included in the free Basic plan; apps with a crown, like Weather, need a Premium licence.

### Step 2: Pick an app

Click an app to see what it does, then choose "Create App".

### Step 3: Name it and add your text

Give it a name, and type your message. The live preview updates as you type.

### Step 4: Adjust the settings

Change any setting you like. Here, the ticker fills the whole screen, in larger text.

### Step 5: Create the app

When it looks right, choose "Create App".

### Step 6: Find it in My Apps

Your new app is now in "My Apps". Open it any time to change its settings.

> **Tip:** You can create several apps from the same store entry, each with its own settings.

### Step 7: Add it to a playlist

To show it, open a playlist. Under "Apps", add it like any other item, and save.
