Split screen layouts
The Split Screen feature in Signage Space gives users the power to transform any display into an intelligent, multi-section visual hub. Instead of showing one piece of content at a time, Split Screen lets you divide your screen into multiple panes each capable of running its own playlist, media, or message. With 10+ professionally designed layout templates and advanced customization controls, users can build dynamic, visually engaging screens tailored to any scenario.
Whether you’re displaying dashboards, combining announcements with live metrics, running promotional banners alongside videos, or simply organizing content more effectively, Split Screen offers unmatched flexibility. Each pane can be styled independently with padding, borders, opacity, and object-fit options, while an optional global background ties everything together. Paired with Signage Space’s powerful scheduling and channel management, Split Screen makes sophisticated layouts easy for everyone. No design skills required.
Multi-pane layout templates
Split Screen includes 10+ professionally pre-built layouts, giving users an instant selection of grids, sidebars, banners, and proportional designs. These ready-made layouts make it easy to structure content without complex setup. Each template is fully responsive within the display, allowing users to start with a polished arrangement and customize further as needed.
Independent pane playlists and media zones
Each pane operates like a mini digital signage player. Users can assign different playlists, single media files, or whole content collections to any pane. This enables a single display to communicate multiple messages simultaneously from menus and promotions to real-time stats, announcements, or dashboards. Every pane follows its own timing, transitions, and content behavior for maximum control.
Advanced pane styling and visual controls
With Split Screen, every pane can be fine-tuned using advanced visual customization. Users can adjust padding, border size, border radius, opacity, and object-fit properties to perfectly style how content appears. A background pane can also be added behind all content, using custom colors or media. Paired with the new pane-style editor and hover-based layout previews, users can effortlessly create highly polished, professional-level layouts.
