# Uploading and Managing Media

## Steps

### Step 1: Open the Media Library

From the dashboard sidebar, click "Media" to access your media library. This is the central hub for all your uploaded images, videos, and other files.

### Step 2: Upload your files

Click "Upload Media" or drag and drop files directly into the library. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP for images, and MP4, WebM for videos. You can upload multiple files at once.

> **Tip:** For best display quality, use 1920x1080 (Full HD) resolution for landscape content and 1080x1920 for portrait mode.

### Step 3: Preview and manage files

Click on any file to preview it and check its details. You can also delete files you no longer need — but be careful, as deleting media that's used in a playlist will remove it from that playlist too.

> **Warning:** Before deleting media, check which playlists are using it. Removing a file that's in active rotation will leave a gap in your playlist.
