## Steps

### Step 1: Browse the template library

Navigate to "Layouts" in the sidebar. You'll see a curated collection of pre-designed templates organized by tags and categories — retail, restaurants, corporate lobbies, and more.

> **Tip:** Use the category filter to narrow down templates. Each template shows a preview so you know exactly what it looks like before applying.

### Step 2: Preview a template

Click on any template to see a full preview. The preview shows zone placement, sizing, and example content so you can visualize how it will look on your screen.

### Step 3: Apply the template

Click "Use Template" to create a new layout based on the template. This copies the template into your account where you can customize it freely.

### Step 4: Customize the layout

Once applied, the layout opens in the canvas editor. You can resize zones, change colors, add or remove areas, and adjust text. The template is just a starting point.

> **Note:** Templates are copied into your account — editing a template-based layout won't affect the original template or other users.

### Step 5: Assign to a screen

Save your customized layout, then go to the Screens page and edit your screen. In the Content dropdown, select your layout from the "Layouts" section to assign it.
