## Questions

**Is the free plan actually free?**

Yes. One screen, free forever, with no credit card and no trial clock. It includes playlists, YouTube and web-page embeds, and the free apps. The two real limits are 200 MB of total storage and 10 MB per file, and the screen shows a small SignageSpace logo.

**What does Premium cost?**

$1 for the first month, then $5 per month per screen. It is billed per screen, so two screens cost $10 a month, not a flat platform fee. Cancel any time from the dashboard.

**What do I get by upgrading?**

Unlimited screens and storage, 100 MB uploads instead of 10 MB, channels and time-based scheduling, split screen, the canvas layout editor with 300+ templates, the full app library, priority support, and no logo on screen.

**What happens when I hit the free storage limit?**

New uploads are refused with a message telling you the 200 MB limit is reached — nothing already on your screen stops playing, and nothing is deleted. Delete some media or upgrade and uploads resume.

**Do I need special hardware?**

No. The free player runs on Android TV sticks and boxes, Raspberry Pi, Windows, macOS and Linux machines, and Samsung Tizen or LG webOS commercial displays. Any TV with an HDMI port and a cheap Android stick behind it works.

**Can I cancel or change plans later?**

Yes. Subscriptions are handled through Stripe and can be cancelled from the dashboard at any time. Downgrading leaves your content in place — the plan limits simply apply again.
