An LG Smart TV can be much more than an entertainment screen. In a café, shop, reception area or office, it can show promotions, menus and announcements. You can turn your LG TV into a remotely managed digital signage screen with the Signage Space LG TV App without buying an HDMI stick or mini PC.What you needYou need a compatible LG webOS television, internet access, the TV remote and a phone or computer for the Signage Space dashboard. App availability depends on model, webOS version and region. Step 1: Install Signage Space from the LG Content StorePress Home on your LG remote. Open the LG Content Store or the apps area, search for Signage Space and select Install. Launch the app from the launcher. The app does not require you to type your account password on the TV, which makes screen handover easier.Step 2: Pair the LG TV to your accountThe player shows a six-letter pairing code. On a laptop or phone, visit signagespace.com and sign in or create a free account. Go to Screens, choose Add Screen and enter the displayed code. Give the screen a practical name such as “Reception LG TV.” If a code expires or changes, use the one currently displayed on the TV.Step 3: Publish your first contentUpload a landscape image or a short video in the dashboard and add it to a playlist. Assign the playlist to your paired LG screen. Start with a simple welcome message so you can verify playback, sizing and connectivity before creating a larger campaign. Make sure text is legible at the actual viewing distance.Step 4: Manage it remotelyOnce the screen is paired, change the playlist from the dashboard without returning to the TV with a USB drive. That is useful for rotating offers, seasonal campaigns or changing a reception notice.
